- All participants must obtain an International Driving permit (IDP) issued in the form of a booklet under the 1949 Geneva Convention from the Government Authorized Association to drive in Japan.
- Vaild IDP are issued only in the country where you issued your national license and cannot be obtained online while traveling.
- Under Japanese law, you cannot participate unless you have both a passport and IDP. ※You cannot participate by photo or data. Please make sure to bring both your passport and IDP in physical from on the day.
- The customer has an obligation to provide a valid IDP, If IDP is not valid in Japan, you cannot participate and we will not issue a refund
- Drivers' licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium and Monaco must obtain a Japanese translation of their licenses from the Japan Automobile Federation JAF, not an international driver's license.
- A driver's license issued in a country that is not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention such as Mexico, Kuwait, China, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, etc. cannot be operated in Japan
