Agra Fort
11am - Visit - The Imposing Agra Fort (A Unesco World Heritage Site), Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

You may wish to enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. • Tickets available 24 hours before Night Viewing of the Taj Mahal, from 10:00 to 18:00. • All members passport photo copy required • Night viewing is allowed between 20:30 and 00:30 hours only • A maximum number of 400 people, in eight batches of 50 persons each, shall only be allowed to view the monument on any one night. Each group shall be allowed to view the Taj Mahal for a duration of 30-minutes only • The visitors of the night viewing of Taj Mahal have to report at Shilpagram complex half an hour in advance of the viewing time. The entry is allowed from the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal only after security check near the Eastern gate.
