Enjoy a relaxing day with your friendly and knowledgeable English-speaking sommelier guide who will guide you to the Cretan hinterland in award-winning wineries and also to off the beaten track trails where you can explore, meet and feel where the Cretan heart of wine beats.
An organically farmed vineyard where you will discover the art of viticulture, you will touch the soil, smell, and taste the grapes. Head to the Pateromihelakis family house where the winery has been set in their 17th hundred stone-built basement. There you will taste the wines and the olive oil of the family both organically farmed. A delicious full mezze lunch will be offered to you while tasting the wines. This experience ends with a glass of aged ‘tsikoudia’ the symbolic grape distilled drink of Crete.
Karavitakis Winery
Karavitakis is an iconic winery for Chania with decades of history. At their garden you will enjoy 7 specially selected wines from our sommelier which you will enjoy with organic olives from the winery’s olive grove and homemade rusks.
