We will ride through Tpc sugar cane plantation area with its small farms and houses. You’ll cycle past schools, Mosques and Churches. Your journey takes you to the nearby rice fields, where you’ll make a stop and if you wish can lend a helping hand to the field workers. Afterwards you will have a better understanding how much hard work goes into one sack of rice. As you cycle through this never-ending jungle, listen carefully to the animal sounds. Our last stop of the day is at the old railway station, remains from the German colonial time. You will feel like you are on 1900s film set and can still sense the bustling energy this magical place used to have roughly hundred years ago. With a little bit of luck, you have the best view on Kilimanjaro.

The reserves is an underground water forest which is well known for its important catchment values as it host not only a numbers of Natural spring but also some valuable tree species and animal species especially two species of moneys namely black and white colubus monkeys (Collubus Guezzera) and blue monkeys. Another species which can be observed in the forest includes various species of butterfly dikdik parts of the squirrels as well as some forested bird species. visiting one of the huge and oldest tree of East African teak (Milicia excelsa) or Mvule mkuu as its called by locals. The tree is used by the traditional healers from the nearby communities for Rituals and medicinal purposes using the bark of the tree. Some peoples believe that the tree can be used to chase away the evil spirit. after lunch at the forest picnick site the bike ride will bring you to the oldest railway station in Moshi town
