For this full-day gourmet experience, we will pick you up to drive to Lyon countryside. You’ll visit farms and meet the people who keep the region’s culinary traditions alive : market gardeners, poultry and cattle farmers.
Your Insider will take you on a behind-the-scenes visit of their farms, where you’ll walk the land, hear their stories, and shop for fresh, seasonal ingredients.
For lunch, you will head to a gorgeous historical Château to enjoy a traditional mâchon — a rustic Lyonnais-style meal once enjoyed by silk workers after their shifts : charcuterie, local cheese, warm dishes, and good wine !
In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Lyon’s historic center, where a private chef welcomes you into a stunning 400m² apartment kitchen. With their guidance, you’ll cook a menu inspired by the day’s harvest and local traditions.
At the end of the day, sit down together to enjoy your creations — paired, of course, with local wines.
