Our journey begins in Porto’s historic center, tracing the Douro River and passing beneath five iconic bridges. At Foz, where the river meets the Atlantic, we pause to admire the breathtaking views before crossing the Arrábida Bridge into Gaia.
In Gaia, we explore the Douro Estuary Natural Reserve, a haven for birdlife and nature lovers. We then visit Afurada, a fishing village shaped by traditions deeply tied to the river.
Continuing through Cais de Gaia, we experience the essence of Port wine and centuries of history, culminating at the Monastery of Pilar. Here, panoramic views of Porto and Gaia provide a stunning finale to a journey blending landscapes, culture, and the spirit of the region.
