Itinerary

The Sanctuary of Fatima, located in Cova da Iria is one of the most important centers of Catholic pilgrimage in the world. This sacred place attracts every year millions of faithful who go there in search of peace, reflection and prayer. The main places to visit in the Sanctuary are: the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity and the Great Square. The Sanctuary of Fatima is much more than a religious venue, it is a symbol of hope, faith and union. Regardless of the beliefs of each visitor, Fatima transmits a special energy that touches the hearts of everyone who passes by.

Museu de Cera

The apparitions of Fatima in 1917 form a religious and national event that occupied many columns in the daily press of that time. The people fled to Cova da Iria in flux of curiosity, but also of faith and hope. We lived difficult times, full of anguish and suffering imposed by the First Great World War. The brighter lady than the sun, promised peace, but asked for penance and prayer. The miracles succeeded, some of a physical nature and many of a spiritual nature. The Wax Museum embodies and reports the main episodes of this great event. The miracle of Fatima is faithfully depicted here in 32 scenes with 120 three-dimensional figures. It is in a union between art and history that the Wax Museum of Fatima invites you to make a journey to a history of faith and hope!
