This full-day tour offers an unparalleled experience of the Bay Area, taking visitors to some of the most picturesque and iconic locations in the region. The tour begins by crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County, where the first destination is the Muir Woods National Monument. Here, visitors will be able to see the giant redwoods on a self-guided visit. After that, a stop is made at Muir Beach Overlook on the Pacific Ocean, and then a quick stop in the bayside town of Sausalito for lunch on their own. Lunch recommendations will be provided by the guide. On the way back to San Francisco, another stop is made at the Golden Gate Bridge overlook.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with a 2 to 3-hour city tour of San Francisco, covering some of the major sites. The route can be customized to include visitors' choice of stops such as Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, Presidio, Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks, Chinatown, Lombard Street (traffic permitting), Coit Tower, and North Beach (“Little Italy”). The tour is conducted in a Jeep that can comfortably fit up to 4 adults and 2 children, with the 3rd-row seating being perfect for children and teens.
This tour is a great way for visitors to explore the best of San Francisco and the surrounding area in one full day, all while being conducted in the comfort of a private Jeep and a tour guide who will take care of everything, so guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.

FAQ How many guests can seated in the Jeep? The Jeeps seat 6 people total plus the driver/guide. Jeeps are small vehicles - for everyone’s comfort, we suggest 4 adult riders per Jeep plus 2 children/teens in the smaller 3rd-row seating.
Is there an opportunity to get out of the vehicle along the tour? Yes, all of our tours have multiple opportunities to get out, take pictures, or walk around the attractions and sites. Other than Muir Woods, this tour does not enter the attractions or museums.
Do the Tours Ride Over the Golden Gate Bridge? Where do we stop? You will cross the Golden Gate Bridge as part of the tour route. Depending on traffic and parking lot closures we will stop at one of these amazing view spots. All are great for photos. With lots of stops, places to visit and limited time there will not be time to walk out onto the bridge sidewalks.
What happens if it rains or Karl the Fog makes an appearance during the tour? For those chilly foggy days all of our vehicles have warm blankets aboard! The operator has ponchos for light rain or drizzle. Jeeps cary a lightweight rain top that can be installed to keep some of the rain off. During the rainy winter months, the operator may install the hardtop if rain is in the forecast. The top priority is passenger safety, so in the event of a huge rain storm, the operator will cancel the tour and provide you with a full refund or reschedule.
