Visit Mil Cascadas, also known as Las Granadas. This breathtaking natural wonder features a series of cascading waterfalls and pools along the Granados River, with a whopping 1000 waterfalls to explore! Your local guide will take you on an exciting 35-meter rappel down the main waterfall, followed by a thrilling jump into 8 different water pools with heights ranging from 2 to 10 meters. After the last jump, take a leisurely 30-minute hike back.
Head to the stunning mountain town of Taxco (-1hr). This magical colonial gem is famous for its rich mining and silversmith traditions, quaint cobblestone streets, and timeless architecture that will take you back centuries. One of the town’s most impressive symbols is the Santa Prisca Cathedral, a UNESCO-nominated 200-year-old Baroque-style church that will leave you in awe.
