Discover Scuba Diving in Cozumel
Our favorite part of this experience is seeing the eyes of new divers during those first few breaths underwater! It is a look of awe and excitement and it always makes us smile. We are a family business run by a Cozumel native and we love to share our very favorite things the island has to offer. Our motto at Cozumel Abyss Divers is "quality, not quantity", so you will experience a small group setting where you will get plenty of attention from your instructor. We keep a small ratio of no more than four* divers per instructor, and we also don't have a diver minimum for this experience, so we won't cancel if you are the only one!

What's included in Discover Scuba Diving in Cozumel
(Subject to Option Inclusions)If you've always wanted to scuba dive, Cozumel is a great place to do it! This experience is ideal for beginners who would like to try scuba diving before deciding to take the plunge into a full certification. After you learn the skills you need to begin diving safely from your PADI-certified instructor, then you will then embark to explore our underwater world. This experience takes approximately 2-3 hours. Please note that you will not be certified to dive after your participation, however if you wish to continue your education with us, we do offer a discount towards your Open Water Course! In order to book a PADI Discover Scuba Experience, our divers must be at least 10 years old. While no prior diving experience is necessary, you should be in reasonable physical health. We at Cozumel Abyss Divers like to keep our groups small, so you will have plenty of attention from your instructor if you need assistance or have questions!

- Please meet us outside of Tikila Bar. One of our instructors wearing a Cozumel Abyss Divers shirt will be there to greet you. You will get your instructor's name closer to your arrival. Please message us with your height, weight, and shoe size so we can properly size your rental equipment!
