Paravani Lake

Paravani is the biggest lake in Georgia. It is located 2000 meters above sea level. Besides it is an amazing place for photography and birdwatching, the lake has it's mystery: however the lake is relatively shallow, the water in the lake is always muddy. In winter, the surface is covered with a thick layer of ice. For this reason, the mystery of Lake Paravani remained undiscovered. The secret was accidentally discovered by divers. According to them, there is a huge object under the lake, the size of which is about thirty meters. Geophysical studies have shown that there is indeed an ancient structure at the bottom of the lake, covering almost a thousand square meters. A scientific expedition was created to investigate this object. The results surprised the scientists. It was found that there is a Bronze Age tomb at the bottom of the Paravani lake. Further investigation revealed a corridor leading to the center of the tomb. Researchers have done a lot of work, but it's not over yet.
