Culture Exploration Day Tour of Dazu Rock Carvings
The Dazu Rock Carvings are a series of Chinese religious sculptures and carvings and UNESCO World Heritage Site, which date back as far as the 7th century AD. Baoding site is the most importance and biggest attraction of the group of sites located around Dazu area, combines three amazing factors of this world-class heritage in one: the sculpture style that combines Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, the ancient craftsmen’s wisdom and understanding about architectural structure and light, and the unique Chinese filial piety culture reflected in the mural stories. Our idea of designing this day tour is focusing on showing our customers how a local Chinese believe in and be influenced by ancient religion in daily life, allowing travelers to appreciate the beauty of these cliff statues and profound history most efficiently. We will integrate the artistic value and humanistic phenomena contained in all other grottoes in our explanations, so that you can stay in Baoding Mountain as long as possible and gain as much cultural information as possible. However, if you are still in need of more acknowledge and be interested in Beishan site, our specifically trained tour guide would be more than happy to show you more. The cost of admission fee is not included. Normally the price is 110 CNY, but might be cheaper due to some special discounts. Plz follow your tour guide to purchase tickets from the official ticket house on the location or online.
