Taiping Cloud Ladder is known as the highest and longest scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan. It is located at the front edge of Taiping Scenic Area, crossing Taiping Mountain and Guishan Mountain in Chiayi. It is one of the best spots to enjoy the Yunlin-Chiayi-Nanning Plain all the way to the Taiwan Strait. Climbing up the ladder, you can feel the gentle mountain breeze, the vast sky and earth, and your vision is unobstructed. When the weather is clear, you can overlook the Jianan Plain, and when the clouds rise, you can feel like you are walking in the clouds. The tea mountains in the distance are lush and green, with rolling hills and the lingering fragrance of tea in the breeze. The bridge deck of the cloud ladder is designed as a wooden plank, which is convenient for walking. The solid structure and material ensure that there is almost no shaking when walking.
