Mae Khachan Hot Spring
We’ll begin the day with a scenic drive from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, with our first stop at a natural hot spring surrounded by lush landscapes. The geothermal pools here bubble with mineral-rich water, where you can take part in a fun local tradition — boiling eggs in the steaming springs. The area is lively with small stalls and local snacks, offering an authentic cultural experience and a unique glimpse into northern Thai life before we continue to explore Chiang Rai’s temples.
Wat Rong Khun
Continue our journey to one of Chiang Rai’s most iconic landmarks — Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Designed by renowned Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, this striking temple stands out with its pure white exterior and intricate mirror details that shimmer under the sunlight. Every element of the temple carries deep symbolic meaning, representing purity, enlightenment, and the path to Nirvana. It’s a truly breathtaking blend of art and spirituality.
Baan Dam Museum
Next, we head to the captivating Baan Dam Museum, commonly known as the Black House.
