09:45–10:45 – Visit to Ancient Aptera Archaeological Site. Step back in time at the hilltop ruins of Ancient Aptera — one of the most powerful city-states in Western Crete during antiquity. Located above Souda Bay, this breathtaking site boasts remarkably well-preserved Roman cisterns, an amphitheater, Byzantine fortifications, and sweeping views over the sea and White Mountains. Your guide will share captivating stories of the city’s rise, trade routes, and sudden disappearance.
Venizelos Graves
11:15–11:45 – Photo Stop at Venizelos Graves Viewpoint.
