A pleasant walk in this magical part of the city
The Fort area is home to many historical buildings—the best way to visit is by walking and enjoying.
You will walk looking and learning about the main sights of this area, starting at Regal Cinema, followed by the Gateway of India, Cathedral of the Holy Name, and then the buildings on the south side of Kala Ghoda such as the Institute of Science, Prince of Wales Museum, David Sassoon Library, Elphinstone College, Army and Navy Building, Watson Hotel and Jehangir Art Gallery.
We’ll then head over to Oval Maidan, from where we can get a good view of Mumbai University and its clock Tower Rajabhai, as well as Mumbai High Court.
We’ll walk to Churchgate Railway Station, Flora Fountain and the UNESCO Heritage Award Winning St Thomas Cathedral, where we’ll also stop briefly for a lassi or other drink before heading to the Asiatic Society of Mumbai. and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Drawing on Hindu and Islamic architectural styles, the gateway of India sits on the waterfront of Southern Mumbai, and since 1924 was the first thing visitors to the city would see when arriving by boat.
We'll explore the historic architecture of Fort. Home to some of Mumbai's oldest, and finest buildings.
This is the large park, popular for games of cricket at all times of the day, and from where you can get a good view of Mumbai University and its clock Tower Rajabhai, as well as Mumbai High Court
