Playa Sosúa Description: Immerse yourself in the vibrant heart of Sosua, Sosua Beach. This famous bay is a paradise of golden sand and calm, crystal clear waters and stunning turquoise blue. It is a perfect place to swim, sunbathe and enjoy the lively local atmosphere. Along the shore, you’ll find a variety of restaurants and bars offering delicious Dominican food and refreshing drinks, including fresh seafood. In addition to being an oasis of relaxation, Playa Sosúa is recognized as one of the best places to snorkel and dive on the north coast, with coral reefs bursting with colorful marine life just a few meters from the shore. Prepare for a day full of sun, fun and the authentic Caribbean essence.

Detailed Pickup Information for your Puerto Plata Tours To ensure the most comfortable and stress-free start to your adventure, pick up at key points in Puerto Plata and its surroundings. 1. Pickup from Hotels and Apartments (Main Lobby): Meeting Point: Our driver will wait for you in the main lobby of your hotel or at the designated entrance of your apartment/accommodation. Identification: you will be clearly identified and our guide/driver will wear a T-shirt or company badge. Pickup Time: The exact pick-up time will be reconfirmed 24 hours before the tour day via message or email. Please be punctual and wait 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time to facilitate the departure of all participants. Contact: In case of any unexpected doubts or delays, immediately contact the emergency number provided in your confirmation. 2. Pickup for Cruise Passengers: We serve visitors arriving at the two main cruise ports of Puerto Plata: (a) Puerto Taino Bay (Puerto Plata Centro): Location: This port is conveniently located very close to the center of Puerto Plata (only 5-10 minutes by car from the central area and about 20-30 minutes away from some more distant hotel areas). Some city tours can even be started by walking if the excursion is exclusively central. Specific Meeting Point: For your convenience, we will wait right outside the cruise terminal, in the designated area for tour operators/taxis with a sign with our logo and your name. Considerations: The journey time from Taino Bay to the starting points of the tours varies, but for city tours, it is very short. For tours to Sosua or the Blue Lagoon, the trip will be longer (see Amber Cove for similar estimates). (b) Amber Cove (Maimon): Location: Amber Cove is located in Maimon Bay, about 15-25 minutes by car from downtown Puerto Plata and about 30-40 minutes from Sosua. Specific Meeting Point: We will meet you outside the cruise terminal, in the designated area for tour operators/taxis. Look up your name for easy identification. Considerations: Due to the distance from Amber Cove to Puerto Plata downtown (and more to Sosua), it is crucial to consider the journey times when planning the tour schedule. For example: To Puerto Plata center: Approximately 15-25 minutes. To Sosúa: Approximately 30-40 minutes. To Blue Lagoon (near Gaspar Hernandez/Rio San Juan): The journey will be longer, approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes from Amber Cove. Important Information for All Collection Points: Communication: Make sure you have your mobile phone turned on (or check your messages/emails) in case we need to contact you before pickup.
