Set off bright and early from Aloha Bowling in Amsterdam. Relax as you journey through the scenic Dutch countryside on your way to the first destination: Zaanse Schans, an iconic showcase of Dutch culture and tradition. The journey from Amsterdam will take around 30 minutes.

Zaanse Schans

Arrive at Zaanse Schans, where you’ll be transported back in time to experience the Netherlands’ traditional way of life. Wander through this picturesque village filled with vibrant wooden houses and historic windmills. Step inside one of these windmills to see it in action and learn about its role in the production of goods like oil and grain. Explore the traditional craft workshops to watch artisans making wooden clogs and Dutch cheese. The charm of this open-air museum, with its scenic landscapes, offers a unique glimpse into the country’s rich heritage. You will spend around 2h 30 minutes here. After an enriching morning exploring the beauty of Zaanse Schans, continue your journey south to The Hague, the political and royal heart of the Netherlands. The ride will take around 90 minutes by bus.

Arrive in The Hague, the seat of the Dutch government and home to the royal family. Begin your visit with a stroll to the iconic Peace Palace (Vredespaleis), which houses the International Court of Justice. You will spend around 2 hours here. After experiencing the cultural and political heart of the Netherlands, it’s time to head to your final destination of the day: Rotterdam where you will arrive after a 1 hour bus ride.
