The best way to explore Bangkok is using the mass transit, just like the locals, to get around town as quickly as possible, also a good way to see the different modes of transport that Bangkok has to offer as you visit the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Keo, China Town and Leng Noi Yee temple.
You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel and walk or take a taxi to the next Skytrain station where we will glide through the air of Bangkok to “Saphan Taksin”.
After we continue our journey by a public boat upstream to Tha Chang Pier, walking the rest of the way to the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Keo.
The Grand Palace was the seat not only of the king and his court, but contained within its crenelated walls the entire government administration. The architecture is vibrantly Thai though there are some European designs as well. Brilliantly colored and gilded, and decorated with intricate detail, the overall effect is dazzling. The palace served as the official residence of the kings of Thailand from the 18th to the mid-20th century.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
