Arriving in the Amsterdam area, we will stop at a typical Dutch cheese and wooden clog farm called 'Rembrandthoeve' located near the Amstel river. Entering the city you will see the Netherlands’ National Bank, the wellknown Heineken brewery, as well as The Painting Gallery, with the great Dutch masters such as Rembrandt and Van Gogh. From the Saint-Nicolas church you will enjoy a 20 minutes’ walk passing the neogothic Central Station reaching the royal palace on Dam Square. Here you will have free time to enjoy a boat tour or a walk along the ‘coffee’ shops, the Red-light district, etc. On departure from the city, our route will take you through the picturesque houseboats and the replica ship of the East Indian company.
