Akamas is a jewel of Cyprus nature. The standard part of this walk is one of the very best in Cyprus, not to be missed.

This customisable walk takes place in the north part of Akamas, a pristine, almost untouched area of Cyprus. In the route versions that I recommend, we ascend to the peak known as "Moutti tis Sotiras" from where one can enjoy unobstructed views of the north coast from Cape Arnaouti, the tip of Akamas, towards Chrysochou Bay and the north-west all the way to Pomos in the north-east. After a pause for a picnic and to enjoy the majestic views we usually walk to the Baths of Aphrodite on the Aphrodite trail (initially a steep descent, with the last stretch on a coastal dirt road, near the cliff). We walk between 7 and 13 km, depending on travellers preference and profile, and conditions and time availability. As this is a private trip, we can customise it. Adding a swim or snorkelling can be a lovely addition, especially during the warmer season.
This is the mythical pool where Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty used to take her bath. Small but mythical.
A peak just higher than 350 meters, close to the coast, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas. Unforgettable.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
As a rule the guide can offer a free ride from agreed locations in the free part of Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos. Guiding time starts when travellers meet with the guide.
