Agra was the world's most populous city in the 17th century with a population of over three hundred thousand people. It was the capital of the Mughal dynasty, the richest dynasty of that time.
People from around the world flocked to the markets of Agra and everyone wanted to live in this beautiful city.
Through this walk you will be able to look at the erstwhile glory of Agra and be able to appreciate and understand why so many world heritage buildings were made here.

Jama Masjid
Our walk leader will meet you at the mosque and give you a brief about the city and how the walk will be conducted. Then we will go into the mosque and start with the stories about the city and how this mosque was built.
This is a 15th-century spice market that has been historically important for the trade of the city. Here we will visit some medieval temples, climb a rooftop, talk about spices and tell you stories about the city.
We will pass by the historic walled city where you can still see 18th-century buildings, we will enter certain homes and temples to look at them from the inside, we will visit an old marble shop that displayed beautiful inlaid marble artifices at a local price and we will also taste some local street food.
