A Taste of Fond Doux Private Walking Tour
On property trails learn about our wide range of organic fruit trees, tropical flowers, plants, vegetables and local spices. Many medicinal plants can be found around the estate as well, which are still used today in traditional medicines that have been passed through generations.
For an authentic experience, you’ll be able to sample organic fruits such as bananas, mangoes, apricots, grapefruits, love apples, guavas, star fruits, cocoa beans, and refreshing jelly coconuts hand-picked by the “Fond Doux Tarzans.”
During your tour be sure to watch and listen for the many indigenous birds and their unique songs. Your guide will even show you how to call the humming birds!

Immerse yourself in a Garden of Eden at Fond Doux Eco Resort where fresh fruit literally falls from the trees. Your guide will show you our wide range of organic tropical fruits (like bananas, mangoes, apricots, grapefruit, love apples, guavas, start fruits and more), flowers, plants, vegetables, and spices—some of which you might be able to sample during the tour (dependent on the season). Tropical birds including rare and endemic species flit between boughs overhead so have your cameras ready. What’s included: Tour guide, Free parking (if not a resort guest) What to know: Arrive 10 minutes before start time. Tour occurs daily from 9 am to 4 pm.
