The host's home is a house in a quiet residential area. You can experience Japanese food as if you were staying with a Japanese family. The menu is Japanese home cooking, either “Oshizushi (pressed-sushi) Set” or “Seasonal Omotenashi Gozen (hospitality dish)”. After having fun cooking, you can enjoy a tasting in a Japanese-style room with tatami mats. The host's home is a 6-minute walk from Kintetsu Ikoma Station. Ikoma Station is easily accessible: 20 minutes from Osaka Namba Station and 15 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station. Why don't you try Japanese food experience in Nara, the ancient capital of Japan, where time passes slowly and nature abounds, unlike Osaka or Kyoto?
You will cook Nara's local cuisine and Japanese home cooking with your host at her home. The home is a house in a quiet residential area. It is located on a hillside in a secluded area. You will have a chance to relax and taste the dishes you have prepared in a traditional Japanese-style room. The Japanese-style room has a tokonoma (alcove) and tea utensils of traditional Japanese culture. The table is a horigotatsu (Dining table with a floor under the table that can be dug out to stretch your legs.) style, so there is no need to sit on the floor. Relax and enjoy Japanese food. Please tell us about the home cooking of your country!
