-What You Can Expect -

  • Day 1
Starting in Edinburgh, we travel west to collect the passengers from Glasgow. Our first stop is the picturesque conservation village of Luss, situated on the scenic banks of Loch Lomond. We then proceed through the breathtaking expanse of Rannoch Moor, passing by the Black Mount and reaching the historic Glencoe, where the MacDonald Clan suffered the infamous massacre of 1692. We take a relaxed stroll to fully absorb the ambiance of this haunting glen before continuing our journey towards Fort William and the imposing Ben Nevis, Britain's highest peak. After a satisfying lunch in the Fort William vicinity, we embark on a two-day tour to Inverness from Edinburgh, following the 24-mile shoreline of Loch Ness, and passing by Urquhart Castle en route. Our journey culminates in Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands, where we arrive in the early evening.
  • Day 2
Today, you have the freedom to customize your itinerary as per your preference. You can opt to explore the captivating Culloden Battlefield, the site of the defeat of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites by the Duke of Cumberland, and witness the ancient Clava Cairns. Following a break for lunch, we head south to Ruthven Barracks, the former military garrison built by General Wade. There is also an opportunity to visit the Dalwhinnie Distillery. On our return journey, we pass through The Hermitage, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk through the serene Scottish woodland (subject to availability during summer months), before crossing the Forth Bridges and reaching Edinburgh.

  • Important Info
  1. Although you book the package with accommodation, accommodation is not included in the price, as we prefer to let you choose the type of accommodation you want, depending on your budget. The tour price includes the services of a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced Driver-Guide and transportation on one of our luxury modern air-conditioned coaches.
  2. Accommodation is payable to the provider upon check-in. We recommend that you prepare £75 per person per night in cash to cover the cost of your accommodation. Please note that many Bed and Breakfasts do not have card machines and require guests to pay in cash. Accommodation rates do vary between providers and seasons. For this reason, we can only give you an estimated rate until a booking has been made.
  3. Estimated rates are as follows:
Youth Hostel: £18.00 - £28.00 per person per night
    B&B: £45.00 - £75.00 per person per night
Hotel: From £75.00+ per person per night
  4. All hotels require credit card information in order to secure a booking. If you wish us to reserve a hotel room for you, we will contact you for your budget and credit card details. Please note a single room supplement may apply.
  5. What is the difference between a Hostel, B&B and Hotel?
Hostels are budget accommodations. Many hostels have kitchen facilities where customers can prepare their own food. B&B's are privately owned Guesthouses. Guests are given breakfast (continental or full, depending on the B&B) but cannot prepare their own food. Hotels are the most expensive choice of accommodation. Rooms come with a full breakfast (unless stated), and guests cannot prepare their own food.
  6. How much luggage can I bring?
Luggage is restricted to one medium-sized suitcase per person. For guidance: a medium-sized suitcase is 60-69cm high and roughly 45cm wide. If you have more luggage than this, you can store your surplus bags with Unbaggaged (additional charges apply). Unbaggaged will collect your bags at a time and place convenient to you! They then store them at a secure central location and return them to you, again, wherever and whenever you like!
