Our most popular tour for over 2 decades and the best bang for the buck for a 2 hour tour near Capitol Reef National Park. Named after a series of rainbow colored hills, the “Velvets” as locals call it are surrounded by towering 2,000 + foot red rock cliffs in all directions. This 2 hour excursion starts in Torrey and in 5 minutes takes us on part of the famous Great Western trail.

- Just .10 mile east of the highway 12 & highway 24 junction and Phillips 66 Subway gas station. A log archway and short improved gravel road on the south side of highway 24 will lead you to our location.
