Borobudur Temple
Borobudur Temple is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple situated in central Java Indonesia. It is one of the most famous Yogyakarta Places of Interest since ever. The monument consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. There are 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues are decorating this temple. Meanwhile, 72 Buddha statues surround the central dome where each seated inside a perforated Stupa. Plaosan Temple
It is a site of temples that combines Hindu and Buddha architecture and located on Bugisan village, 5 kilometers away from Prambanan Temple. This temple was built by Rakai Pikatan in 11th century as a gift to his wife, Pramudyawardani, who was a Buddhist. The site is divided into two; Plaosan Lor (north) and Plaosan Kidul (south).
