Itinerary

Van Gogh Museum

Explore the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam with a small group and an art historian guide. Head straight inside with reserved entry tickets—saving you the hassle of getting them on your own—and begin your journey into the life and mind of one of the 19th century's most fascinating artists. Learn the real reason why Van Gogh painted so many self portraits, hear the (perhaps surprising) stories of gratitude and friendship that inspired his "Sunflowers" series, and discover a different side of him that goes beyond his legacy as a tortured artist. Note: From March 7 - June 9, 2025, this tour also includes access to the temporary exhibit by famed German artist Anselm Kiefer at the Van Gogh Museum, as well as the permanent and temporary exhibits at the Stedelijk Museum (Museum of Contemporary Art). You will be able to access both the temporary exhibit and Stedelijk Museum at the end of your tour.
