Ajloun Castle
Ajloun Castle is the great 12th century Islamic castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din. The hilltop edifice is a stunning example of medieval Arab-Islamic military architecture, and was built to dominate three major passages into northwest Jordan
