Explore what it's like to breathe and view the underwater world on this introductory scuba diving experience in Amorgos, Greece. During this 2:30 hour activity, perfect for beginners, slip into either the calm Aegean Sea water accompanied by a SSI instructor. This is a small-group group tour of up to 10 people to ensure safety and personalized attention. Choose between morning or afternoon dives from Aegiali Beach.
Depending on your choice of morning or afternoon dive, meet your dive instructor and small group at the dive center located on Aegiali Beach. After arrival and check-in, learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a SSI professional instructor during a short briefing. Although this is not a certification course, you'll discover what wearing the scuba gear feels like and how easy it is to maneuver underwater, find out what it's like to breathe, and learn some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over to your full scuba certification should you choose to continue diving. This program will be conducted in pool-like conditions in the bay off the beach with depths of up to (5 meters) for confined dives. Prior to heading into open waters, practice will be conducted in shallow waters first. Please note: This activity is suitable for children aged 8 years and up. Courses may be operated by a multi-lingual instructor and be offered in the following languages: English, French and Greek.
