They range in height from 1 meter to 13.5 meters and in shape from conical to straight. Two twin pagodas behind Daeungjeonhall are the tallest, standing three times the height of an average adult.
The museum is a two-story building with a hanok-style structure made of concrete. At the entrance to the museum, there is a monumental structure shaped like a giant pair of scissors, and it is a unique museum themed on scissors. The Jinan Scissors Museum collects and exhibits various scissors from the East and the West from ancient times to the present, and many types of Korean taffy scissors are collected. The Scissors Museum was established when five iron scissors from the Goryeo Dynasty were discovered in Cheonsu-ri, Yongdam-myeon, Jinan-gun, an area that was submerged due to the construction of the Yongdam Dam.
