  • Crystal Church
Located betweern the borders of Zhoubei and Zhongzhou Salt Fields, the Crystal Church is set in a wide, open coastal area where salt fields once dominated the landscape. The church is inspired by salt pile with a design that mimics the image of connecting sal mounds. With a pure white theme reflecting the crystal-clear nature of salt, the design is also reflective of the comforting presence of churches that once supported countless patients suffering from Blackfoot Disease.
  • Beimen Visitor Center (Hot Wedding Photography Spot)
The Beimen Visitor Center of the Southwest Coast National Scenic Area Administration is converted from the southwestern warehouse complex of the former Beimen Salt Washing Tourism Factory. The exterior retains the original factory’s gable roof structure. The center introduces the attractions from north to south in the southwest coastal area, and plan themed zones and interactive multi-media zones by integrating tourism resources such as "Salt Industry History," "Wetland Ecology," "Religious Culture," "Local Industry," and "Literature & Arts".
  • Anping Old Street
Anping Old Street (安平老街) was the first street in Taiwan to be given a name. More than 300 years ago this was the first street built by the Dutch in Anping. In the early days, the street was built solely for pedestrians and push carts due to the fact that the street was narrow and there was not that much space to navigate. Many tourists coming to Anping must visit this street, and the noisy and bustling environment of Anping Old Street is one of its hallmarks. The street features all kinds of old stalls and shops, and regardless of whether you are a domestic or foreign visitor coming here to look for nick-knacks, raise your head once in a while to admire the Wind Lion Gods (風獅爺) on the roofs of the old buildings or take a look at the Sword Lions (劍獅) on the lintels of doors. There are many small alleyways within the Anping Old Street area, and each alley has its own characteristics and features, such as Jasmine Alley (茉莉巷) and Rouge Alley (胭脂巷). The area retains many of its old-style buildings, and when entering some of the more quiet alleyways it feels as if time is flowing backwards. The maze of alleys is filled with adventurous feel. It is a pity if you don’t explore the alleys when you come to Anping Old Street.
  • Tainan Luermen Mazu Temple
Luermen Mazu Temple is located on Cheng'an Road in Annan District, Tainan City, and serves as the spiritual center of the Tucheng community. Designed in the architectural style of Beijing’s Forbidden City, the temple features four north-south and three east-west courtyards with five main halls, covering over 20,000 square meters. It’s known as the largest temple in the Far East. Founded in 1641, the temple has nearly 400 years of history. Two boundary markers set by the Three Guilds of Fucheng during the Qing Dynasty still stand to the left of the front hall, telling the story of the temple's historical grandeur. Since 1987 (ROC Year 76), the temple has hosted a meticulous fireworks show during the Lantern Festival, with professional teams performing in the front plaza, making it one of Tainan’s signature New Year events.
  • Jingzaijiao Tile-Paved Salt Fields, Beimen, Tainan
Jingzaijiao is the first salt field in Beimen and the oldest surviving tile-paved salt field in Taiwan. The entire site uses traditional tile-paving methods, creating a beautiful mosaic-like pattern. Due to high labor costs, salt production ceased in 2002 after 338 years of operation. The once-active salt fields were abandoned for a time, but were later restored to preserve salt industry culture. Now it stands as one of the most iconic coastal attractions in Tainan. At sunset, the reflection of the sky on the salt fields creates a stunning light display, accompanied by the endless horizon and clouds of Beimen Lagoon. The area is a hotspot for photographers and visitors, drawn to its ever-changing twilight views. This is a must-see destination when exploring Tainan’s coast.
