Pena Palace is a breathtaking example of 19th-century Romanticism. With its vibrant colors, whimsical architecture, and stunning hilltop views, it looks like something out of a fairytale. Originally a monastery, it was transformed into a palace by King Ferdinand II, blending Gothic, Moorish, and Manueline styles. Surrounded by lush forests and exotic gardens, Pena Palace is one of Portugal’s most iconic landmarks.
Centro Historico de Sintra
In the heart of Sintra, you can explore the charming village, admire the National Palace, or take a scenic walk to the enchanting Quinta da Regaleira (tickets not included). Alternatively, immerse yourself in the magic of this medieval town — stroll through its narrow streets, soak in the local atmosphere, and savor a coffee paired with the famous "Travesseiro" or "Queijada" two must-try traditional pastries.
Quinta da RegaleiraPass-by Only
(Optional Visit) Quinta da Regaleira is one of Sintra’s most mysterious and enchanting landmarks. This extravagant estate, built in the early 20th century by António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro, blends Gothic, Renaissance, and Manueline influences. Surrounded by lush gardens filled with hidden tunnels, mystical symbols, and secret passageways, it feels like a journey into a fantasy world. One of its most famous features is the Initiation Well, a spiraling underground tower believed to be linked to Masonic rituals. (Self-guided, ticket not included)

Additional Information
Pickups begin at 7:40 AM for downtown hotels and 7:50 AM for uptown locations. You’ll receive a confirmed pickup time the day before your tour. If parking isn't available or your hotel is outside the central pickup zone, we may ask you to walk up to 5 minutes to a nearby meeting point. If your hotel isn't listed, please select the closest available option or choose one of the designated meeting points provided in the list. To ensure the tour runs smoothly, we allow a maximum waiting time of 5 minutes at both pickup locations and meeting points.
