The Little India Arcade is a bustling shopping centre nestled in the heart of Little India. The vibrant and chaotic winding alley has a collection of 20th-century shophouses selling jewellery, silverware, silk sarees, handicrafts, traditional Indian clothes and souvenirs. Not only is the Little India Arcade an amazing place to shop at, but it also has some of the finest Indian cuisine restaurants, where visitors can stop by for a quick meal.
The Tekka Centre is a multi-purpose building complex that boasts of a wet market, food stalls and retails stores, undoubtedly one of Singapore’s most iconic attractions.
Down Tekka Lane, look out the kaleidoscopic House of Tan Teng Niah. Built in 1900, this colourful sweet digs complete with eight rooms is the last surviving Chinese villa in Little India. It belonged to the towkay Tan Teng Niah before restoration and conservation in the 1980s for commercial use. Now, it's an eye-catching backdrop fit for the 'gram.
