What's included in Sauk River Whitewater Rafting (Class 3-4)

This is an intermediate whitewater trip. Please exercise caution and when in doubt choose an easier trip like the Skagit if you have beginners or children. Participants are required to be in wetsuits; you can bring one or rent one (it is included in the price on Viator). Participants are required to watch a 10 minute safety video and sign an online liability waiver. No participants are allowed under the age of 14. All participants between the ages of 14-17 must have previous class 3, or above, whitewater experience. Participants 18 and over must be capable swimmers and be able to participate in a rescue if needed.

Trip Itinerary Example; 9am trip. 

9:00am: meet with your guides/introductions at White Chuck Boat Launch

9:05am: get suited up in your wetsuits

9:15am: get your PFD, Helmet, and Paddles

9:20am: participate in extensive safety orientation, paddle talk, and rescue scenario

10:00am: begin paddling down the river

12:00pm: arrive at Bachman Park where a bus awaits to take you back to your car

12:15pm: shake hands with your guides and hand back your equipment

12:20pm: have a nice day!

What you may want to bring: Quality footwear (old tennis shoes are great, or if you prefer you can wear sandals, booties, or flip flops), warm wool socks, capilene or other base layer for warmth, a snack or lunch, camera, water bottle that can be attached to the raft (we do not allow loose plastic on the river due to litter issues).
