Consecrated on 26 April 1248 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the chapel stands in the heart of Palais de la Cité. See the ceremonial staircase, towering ceilings, and observe the glass windows that show 1,113 scenes from the Bible's Old and New Testaments, telling the story of the world until the arrival of the relics in Paris.
