- After debarking your ship, please take the free shuttle service from the cruise ship to the Cruise Welcome Center at Largo della Pace. Upon exiting the shuttle service, you will need to look for the Staff members from CIVITATOURS. The meeting time is between 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM.

Arrival in Civitavecchia: 1. Upon arrival in Civitavecchia, use the complimentary shuttle service provided by the cruise ship. This service will take you from the dock to the Cruise Welcome Center at Largo della Pace. It's advisable to disembark the ship at least 30 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. 2. After getting off the free shuttle bus, present your voucher to either BIG BUS TOURS or CIVITATOURS staff. They will provide all the necessary information for your day in Rome. Departure from Civitavecchia to Rome: • Check-in Time: 9:15 AM • Departure Time: between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM • Location: Cruise Welcome Center at Largo della Pace • Note: The shuttle bus departs from Via/Street Prato del Turco outside the port. This is a self-guided experience, and there won't be a tour host on the shuttle. Arrival in Rome: • The transfer coach will arrive near the Vatican, at Via Lungotevere Marzio "Zanardelli", on the opposite side of the bridge from the Justice Palace, Palazzaccio. • Nearest Big Bus boarding point: Stop 6 - Via Lungotevere Tor di Nona • Use the Big Bus application to view the hop-on-hop-off tour map, which covers 11 stops highlighting Rome's iconic attractions. Your ticket grants access to 2 tour lines and various double-decker bus companies, allowing you to plan your time as you wish. • Enjoy pre-recorded commentary with complimentary headphones to learn about Rome's history, architecture, and culture. Return from Rome to Civitavecchia: • Meeting Time: 3:45 PM • Departure Time: 4:00 PM • Location: Piazza dei Tribunali • The coach will arrive back at the Cruise Welcome Center in Civitavecchia around 5:30 PM. • Ensure you return to the meeting place on time for the shuttle departure. You'll have approximately 4.0-4.5 hours of free time in Rome.
