Today, Peru is still one the countries boasting the largest number of potato varieties and some of the most exotic ones can be found just 1.5 hours from Cusco - at the Potato Park. This bio-cultural reserve is made up of 5 local communities who have made it their mission to preserve thousands of potato varieties for future generations. On this excursion, you will learn all about the farming of potatoes, ancestral weaving techniques, and the large variety of local medicinal herbs the communities offer.
