Set among orchards watered by plentiful mountain streams, Bursa is a city of brightly coloured houses and winding streets dotted with fountains. Among its mosques, Yesil Mosque (Green Mosque) (1421) marked the beginning of a purely Turkish style; it includes a theological college, library and ablution fountain. Nearby is the Green Mausoleum, containing thee tomb of Sultan Mehmed I. One of the must see in Bursa is the Grand Covered Bazaar (Koza Han), if you like scarves and accessories prepare yourself. Bursa’s silk industry has a long heritage. Take a cable car to Uludag (Great Mountain), today renowned as the “Snow Paradise”, Uludag is the most popular winter sports centre in Turkey. We start our journey with being picked up from your hotel early in the morning and we will head to the former Ottoman capital, Bursa. On the way we will take 45 minutes ferry drive and you can enjoy the country and sea views.
