Your professional guide will drive you to discover the most famous places and there will be 2 stops* within the tour. You will see the Place de la Concorde, the Madeleine church, the Opéra Garnier, Place Vendome… You will then go on the Champs-Elysées Avenue. On the top is the Arc de Triomphe celebrating the Napoleon victories. After, you will go to see the Eiffel Tower* (photo stop of 10 minutes). You will cross the river Seine to join the left bank. You will pass by Notre-Dame Cathedral. You will continue with the Latin Quarter, Le Pantheon, the Luxembourg gardens, St Germain, St Sulpice churches, Les Invalides built in the 18th century where is Napoléon’s tomb. You will finish this visit with the "village" of Montmartre* where you will have another 20 minutes to stroll around the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and to the Place du Tertre where all the historical artists and painters used to show their works.
You will first see the Pei Pyramid, the medieval foundations and start the visit by the Denon hall with the famous Samothrace victory on the top of the monumental Daru stair. You will go the “Grande Galerie” where are located most of the master pieces from the 13th to the 17th century of which Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Veronese, Tintoret and many others. You will then go to the Italian Gallery and the rooms where are shown the “grands formats” of the French painters David, Delacroix, Géricault, Ingres, Fragonard. You will then look at Mona Lisa which has now a special large room dedicated to her. The museum is also famous for its Italian, French and Egyptian sculptures and the famous sphinx.
