Participants must be aged 5+ to participate in this activity
Participants must be aged under 60 to take part in this activity
No prior experience needed. This activity is safe for beginners to participate
You may use your camera with a removable lens/mobile phone at take off, however they must be securely stowed by your pilot for the duration of the flight. For safety reasons, these devices could NOT be used during the flight because they cannot be securely attached to the flying harness and are forbidden while in the air as you fly over populated areas
Small compact cameras may be used during the flight. Your designated pilot will attach the camera securely to your harness
Please note activity runs only if weather conditions allow safe flights (not during rain, storms, heavy snowfall, strong winds, bad visibility)
Photo and video services are available, an additional fee of CHF40 must be paid in cash or credit card to your pilot
During the flight, your pilot will take photos and videos with a GoPro camera. After landing, you can have a peek at the shots on a tablet and purchase them directly from your pilot. The package contains 10 to 15 photos and 2 to 4 videos
The participants of a paragliding flight are insured by the organizer with accident insurance with unlimited coverage for medical expenses in Switzerland. For all other activities, the participants are not insured by the organizer. The participant is responsible for adequate health and accident insurance (including sports accidents).
People who have been cleared for air travel despite having heart disease can participate in this activity
Small daypacks, handbags as well as other small objects can be left safely with the operator and picked up after landing
If you wish to fly with a female pilot during your paragliding experience, please confirm availability in advance by contacting the Over The Planet team at least 96 hours before your desired participation date

- [Return] at Center of Interlaken, Höhematte landing field (1800ft), You can choose to return at the following times: 08:25, 09:25, 10:35, 11:45, 13:00, 14:45, 16:00, 17:15, 18:15. Options available can vary based on the departure time you selected at booking and the duration of the itinerary. After landing, view photos and videos with the option to buy from your pilot. Return to the meeting point to collect your bags (if any). The total experience lasts around 75 minutes.

This tandem paragliding flight will have you soaring high above Interlaken and the Lake of Thun. Fly like an eagle through the sky and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps. We will pick you up at the meeting point in Interlaken and bring you up to Beatenberg by bus in around 20 minutes. After a short safety briefing you will launch from a gently inclined slope into the adventure of a lifetime. Depending on weather conditions you will be in the air for around 10 to 20 minutes worth amazing bird's eye view of Interlaken before landing on the soft grass. The adrenaline rush is included!

Spring: This is the best season for paragliding in Interlaken if you're looking for long flights. The strong thermals provide excellent lift, allowing you to stay in the air for longer. Plus, you get to enjoy the beautiful green fields against the snowy mountain backdrop. Another bonus is that there are fewer tourists during this season.
Summer: If you're looking for a more casual paragliding experience, then summer might be the best season for you. You can fly in shorts and a t-shirt, and on hot days, you can even cool off in the air. Morning and evening flights are particularly enjoyable during this season.
Autumn: Autumn in Interlaken offers great visibility, which means you can take in the stunning scenery from up high. The thermals are gentler during this season, which makes for a more relaxed and leisurely flight. The colorful leaves also make for a beautiful backdrop.
Winter: Paragliding in winter provides a unique and breathtaking experience. You get to fly over a winter wonderland, with snow-covered mountains as far as the eye can see. After your flight, warming up in a cozy environment is twice as enjoyable.
