Tropical Fruit World has been a pioneer in integrating fruit farming with tourism. Nestled among rainforests, water catchments, and the undulating volcanic mineral-rich soil from Mount Warning's caldera, this operational fruit farm thrives in an ideal environment to cultivate over 500 varieties of fruits from around the globe. The Tropical Fruit World brand offers guided tours and tastings, the farm's own Plantation Markets fruit market, and the regional dining and event space Plantation House, along with a distinctive range of skincare and food products known as The Plantation Collection.
Husk Distillers
Husk Distillers craft their own rum, using the finest quality, freshly crushed cane juice from their farm. Tasting their rum reveals a distinct body and character, unlike traditional molasses-based rums. Consider Pure Cane, their unaged Agricole, which is the purest expression of their craft. This sparkling, crystal-clear spirit offers unmatched freshness, with herbal and floral aromas, and a light, fruity profile featuring sweet sugarcane and citrus notes, culminating in a well-balanced, pastry-like finish. Moreover, their rums are noted to be lighter and less pungent than many French agricoles, which adhere to traditional nineteenth-century production methods and the strict AOC rhum Agricole regulations.
