This is a walking tour in Bucharest, using a normal pace. The purpose of the tour is for the visitors of Bucharest and Romania to have a thorough understanding of what Communism meant for the country and most importantly, for its people. At the end of the 3 hours you will have most of your questions about the regime answered but you will also have the opportunity to ask any further ones to your guide. You will also understand how the regime that ended more than 30 years ago still influences Romania(n)'s life.

During this 3 hours walking tour on the streets of Bucharest, you will see how the years Romania spent under the Communist regime changed its architecture, its people and most importantly, its present. We will go through all the major changes Communism brought to this country and to this city, including but not limited to: nationalization, Secret Police, demolitions, etc. We will see around 15 objectives, each of them marking a specific moment/change during the Communist regime timeline.
