Alan Brady planted the first grapes in our valley in 1981, leading a charge that now places Gibbston among giants, regularly taking out 'Best NZ Red Wine' competitions the world over. Wild Irishman wines are the pinnacle of Central Otago winemaking, showcasing the pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit, camaraderie among winemakers, and the unique flavors and expressions of our terroir. The Wild Irishman wine label has benefited from that Brady magic, and now with another Irishman, Brian Shaw, on the team, the label's focus on sub-regional diversity is taking another step toward cementing its place as one of the most iconic wines of our region this decade. Tasting: A mixture of Wild Irishman white and red wines.
