Hue Imperial City (The Citadel)
Hue Imperial City is the most prominent landmark of Hue for tourists visiting a hidden charm of Vietnam. It is one of Vietnam’s seven World Heritage Sites protected by UNESCO. This must-see attraction is the sprawling fortress and the palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue, which was founded in 1804 by Gia Long Emperor for the royal family. The citadel palace complex is three circles of ramparts: Hue Capital Citadel, Royal Citadel and Forbidden Citadel. Furthermore, it hosts an amazing collection of oriental architecture.
Thien Mu Pagoda
There are numerous legends associated with Thien Mu Pagoda that are also known as Linh Mu Pagoda. It is said that Locals used to see an elderly woman dressed in red emerge on top of the hill every night. She predicted that the Lord would pass by one day and construct something significant. Thien Mu Son became the name of the peak after that it means Mountain of Lady from Heaven.
Tam Giang Lagoon
Tam Giang Lagoon is the most beautiful lagoon systems in Central Vietnam. The Lagoon is about 11km north of Hue. It is situated in the Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon system. This is really where Perfume River, O Lau, and Bo Rivers meet before they flow into the sea through Thuan An. Nature has endowed a pristine beauty and tranquility for Tam Giang Lagoon
