Adult prices will apply from 13 years old
Children who have not yet reached their 3rd birthday (0-2 years) may accompany as a spectator under supervision the of an adult spectator but are not permitted to fly
Children must be a minimum of 3 years old to travel on the balloon flight and children up to the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the balloon flight
Children aged 13 to 17 years old can travel on the balloon flight by themselves, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the rest of the tour including bus transfers
Although not mandatory, it is recommended that you purchase accident and/or travel insurance before participating in this activity
Pregnant women and those who participated in diving the previous day are not suited to this activity

A Hot Air Balloon Cairns vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a scenic hot air balloon flight. Choose to get your morning off to a great start with a spectacular balloon inflation display. Rise up and float over the scenic Atherton tablelands with their rainforest-fringed mountains and tranquil country landscapes, and enjoy a 30-minute scenic flight. Watch out for local wildlife, and afterwards there are balloon pack-up games before boarding the coach for a transfer to Skyrail Smithfield Station. It will take approximately 1 1/2 hours to get from the Smithfield Terminal to Kuranda. There are some exciting stops along the way as you change carriages. Once you arrive in Kuranda, you will have time to explore the small town and also the cafes and restaurants for something to eat and drink (at your own cost). In the afternoon, check in for your train ride on the Kuranda Scenic Railway with plenty of time as the train will leave on time. First, you will stop to see the dramatic Barron Falls, get off, and take photos. This really is one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. The train will conclude at Cairns Central Rail Station; from there, you will need to make your own way back to your accommodation.
