Mini Tour, Basseterre City: A city of Basseterre offers visitors a wonderful opportunity to explore the island's rich history, cultural heritage, and stunning natural beauty if the full island tour is not desired. A one-hour (1 hr) tour of rich historical facts and then two hours of the beach.

Berkeley Memorial

History and Heritage: Pass by the Berkeley Memorial in the Circus. A mini version of Big Ben Clock. The Circus comes from British influence on the island and is a popular meeting point and serves as a hub for taxi transportation. This venue also serves as an area for festivals and celebrations throughout the year showcasing local music, dance and performances. Providing a vibrant and lively atmosphere for both residents and visitors to enjoy

Independence Square
Pass-by Only

The Independence Square where slaves were sold is now a venue of relaxation where people have lunch or fairs. The Square is surrounded by Geogian-style buildings and the Catholic Church and the Court House. As you drive along throughout the streets of Basseterre you will pass by the Anglican Church which was burnt twice. A drive along the Bay Road to the Cenotaph, a memorial landmark honoring the soldiers who fought in WW1.
