BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE READ- NO SINGLE PERSON BOOKINGS!!! This is a private guided hike for a minimum of 2 people up to 8 per booking. Parent(s)/an adult MUST accompany 12 to 17 year old participants.
***The meetup location at Walmart is MANDATORY! You will trail us to Machine Falls in your own vehicle. ***
TLC sang it, but Nashville is Nature with guide you to it! Located in Tullahoma, TN, Machine Falls is around 1 hour and 15 minutes from Downtown Nashville is a natural area where an easy to moderate ~2.4 mile loop trail in the woods and across water covered rocks will lead you to a beautiful waterfall. On average, the guided hike (not including time spent at the waterfall) takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to complete.
At a minimum, YOUR FEET WILL GET WET!
There are NO public facilities in this natural area.
PLEASE NOTE!!! Tennessee has lots of storms so there’s a chance that you will have to climb over/ go under trees that may block certain trail parts.

Machine Falls Loop Trail
***PLEASE NOTE- THERE ARE NO PUBLIC FACILITIES AT THIS NATURAL AREA.*** Once parked, we will begin the hike and waterfall tour of Machine Falls first by hiking along a wooded, primarily dirt path trail. We will cross over streams and onto bridges. There's a section of the trail that provides a preview of the falls prior to arriving actually to it. If you decide to go to this overlook, please proceed with caution. During the hike we will come to a descending trail that narrows significantly leading to the waterfall. Once at the base, we will then take a short hike into a rocky stream that will lead us directly to the waterfall itself! There's a vast, wide section of the waterfall that's flat, but slippery that's great for pictures. To get to it involves a short climb upon rocks that should be proceeded with caution. After our time at the waterfall, we will ascend via stairs in the woods and back onto the trail.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- For ages 12 years and older only- no exceptions. If your group arrives/ you arrive for the hike and someone under 12 is present, the hike will be canceled and you/ your group will NOT receive a refund. Parent(s)/adult(s) MUST accompany minors (12-17 years of age).
- We operate in most weather conditions; please dress appropriately. What to wear- Appropriate hiking apparel, i.e. tennis shoes (will get wet!), hiking shoes/boots (preferably waterproof), comfortable shorts, pants, and shirts.
- If you/ your group arrives more than 15 minutes late from the start time of the hike, the hiking tour will be canceled and you forfeit your refund.
- What to bring- Insect repellent, snacks, water (we will also provide these). Optional: Trekking poles, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, rain poncho.
- Participation is dependent on signed waivers that we will send via text and/or email.
- The check-in/ meetup location is mandatory. NO EXCEPTIONS, even if you know the route to Machine Falls. If you fail to meet us here, the hike will be cancelled and NO REFUNDS will be given.
- A minimum of 2 people per tour are required- no exceptions. Ex- If 3 people book, but only one person shows up for the hike, it will be canceled. The fee will only be refunded to the person who showed up.
- No pets allowed.

- MANDATORY CHECK IN LOCATION 1153 Fortress Blvd Murfreesboro, TN 37128 Once in the parking lot, please park in one of the side spaces at the end of the Walmart Neighborhood Market, closest to the Walmart Gas Station. Our vehicle will have a ‘Nashville is Nature’ sign on the driver’s side door.
End Points
- The tour will end at the parking lot of Machine Falls. If you so choose, you and your group can trail us to the interstate exit that will lead you back to Murfreesboro and Nashville, TN post hike.
