You'll start by learning how to read the wind and understand basic sailing terms. Then, under the captain’s guidance, you'll jump into real sailing tasks. Practice handling ropes, hoisting and setting the sails, and trimming them for speed and balance. You’ll gain a feel for the boat’s responsiveness and how teamwork and timing matter when adjusting the sails or tacking into the wind.
