A short walk from the Colosseum will bring you to the Arch of Constantine and the Forum. The Form functioned as the main hub of the ancient city, and was the focal point of life in ancient Rome. The ruins here indicate the importance of the Forum, as a centre of religion, politics and commerce. You’ll see the Temple of Julius Caesar, built on the site of his cremation, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House, the Basilica of Maxentius and much more
